December is usually my favourite month of the year. The reasons are the usual – it is chillier than usual (although in Mumbai it makes no difference), there are loads of holidays and potential holidays (bosses are usually more benevolent and clients are partying themselves), it is a countdown to a new and (hopefully) better year and of course, the most important of them all, it is my birthday month!
